The Dark Horse Advisory, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), doing business as SteadyHeart Stories™, respects your privacy. SteadyHeart Stories is a forthcoming children's book brand based in Middleton, Idaho. This site is currently a launch announcement page intended for adults. It is not directed to children.
What We Collect
If you join our launch list, we collect your email address (and your name, if you provide it) so we can notify you when SteadyHeart books become available. We do not collect any other personal information through this site at this time.
This site is hosted on Wix, which collects limited technical data (IP address, browser type, device type) for security and platform performance. See the Wix Privacy Policy for details. Wix sets essential cookies to keep the site running. This site does not use behavioral advertising, retargeting, or third-party analytics tools.
How we use your information
Your email address is used solely to send launch announcements and related news about SteadyHeart Stories. It is not sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is stored by our email service provider, Google, whose privacy practices apply while your information is in their system.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up for our launch list, please email christy@steadyheartstories.com and we will delete the information.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email christy@steadyheartstories.com. California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other state residents have additional rights under their state privacy laws. EEA, UK, and Swiss residents have rights under GDPR and UK GDPR. The same email address is the way to exercise them.
Data retention and security
Launch list emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no online transmission is fully secure.
Changes to this policy
When SteadyHeart Stories launches its catalog, this policy will be expanded to cover book purchases, shipping, and related data practices. The effective date will be updated. If you have an active subscription at that time, you will be notified by email.
